 Week 3 was laced with cravings of terrible food (fast food...) that I gave in to sometimes... Whataburger after the Carrie Underwood concert that folloing morning because of too many gin & tonics...so clearly bacon was the solution.

However, it was a productive week!
Monday - Body pump (weights) class with Kristi
Tuesday - we tried Tai Chi-Pilates-Yoga there too and we loved it! Definitely challenging & relaxing with the intense stretches
Wednesday - 9 am endurance run with Michael (i started it alone and pushed through!)
Thuesday - off
Friday - swimming at Schlitterbahn haha
Saturday - morning run, A LOT more swimming, what felt like lunges & squats with the tubes at the water park and fearful leg kicks while snorkeling...more importantly, lots of Vitamin D :)

Here's to week 4! Eating healthier, starting the MyFitnessPal app to check my food, and protein shakes.

So I had a plan for this week last week, definitely didn't start the 30 day challenge :/ week 3? BUT i definitely persevered. A goal in itself!
Another successful week of cooking at home, slipping into an old dress easily, limiting the glass of wine consumption :), and work outs. Just have to push through. THAT'S what i've learned this week. Keep aiming for the goal that it'll get easier one day...especially the horrible running & sweat. haha

Monday - stairs/calves
Tuesday - results fitness for 1 hr total body workout. abs...OUCH.
Wednesday - morning work out with michael! Endurance run on a trail
Thursday - evening walk (2 mi?) with Kristi
Friday - Morning workout with mike again, so inspiring. more endurance and introduced weights. need to work on planks, pushups and general abilities lol
Saturday - morning hike run with Shea :) and the farmer's market

I feel good. Week 2. need to keep the momentum going! introducing protein drinks week 4...just want to clean eat, spinach and greek yogurt in everything, cottage cheese, etc. til then

Healthy Attempt: Starting out...

Began a membership at Results Fitness on August 15th. Finally able to cook at home & eat healthy consistently with an attempt to dramatically but back alcohol and only drink water with food. On that note, try to drink water more often...as i drink my cup of coffee right now.
Back to Results: They introduced a personal trainer-style full body work out I can hardly remember, but I was still impressed and it all kick-started this anyhow :) This is a groupon, so i'd like to pick up boxing again at katie's gym in the bluff or get back on the yoga at crossroads. we'll see. regular gym might be a good bet too.

Week 1, August 19th:
Sunday - ummm.
Monday -  Legs with Naz @ Results. Was sore for DAYS. Just moved in to a 3 story townhouse -__-
Tuesday - Yoga @ home
Wednesday -AM workout at the park with Mike D.
Thursday - off!!
Friday - walked *almost* a mile with Brent

Week 2, August 25th:
Sunday - This beautiful AM work out by myself on Ocean Drive. Did walk/sprints/some yoga/crunches/calves.
